Probable Pitchers for Tuesday, July 28
Jair Jurrjens (ATL) @ Ricky Nolasco (FLA)
Nolasco pitches either extremely well or horribly bad. The Braves were batting over .300 in 7 of their last 11 games.

Probable Pitchers for Monday, July 27
Craig Stammen (WAS) @ Jeff Suppan (MIL)
I am not confident enough to start Stammen here but he should be on your watch list after four consecutive quality starts.

Probable Pitchers for Sunday, July 26
Dallas Braden (OAK) @ Sergio Mitre (NYY)
As much as I like Dallas Braden I am staying clear off him at Yankee Stadium.
|
Probable Pitchers for Saturday, July 24
David Price (TB) @ Brian Tallet (TOR)
This looks favourable for David Price. Toronto’s lineup is righty-heavy and they’ve been batting .221 over their last 6 games.
|
Probable Pitchers for Friday, July 24
Aaron Harang (CIN) @ Randy Wells (CHC)
I hope Wells’ last two games against Washington and St. Louis were exceptions rather than a downward trend. Besides, the Reds have been batting .214 in their last 5 games. It’s a risky start though.

Probable Pitchers for Thursday, July 23
Barry Zito (SF) @ Kenshin Kawakami (ATL)
Kawakami has been very solid this season and the Giants have been batting .194 in their last 5 games.
|
Probable Pitchers for Wednesday, July 22
Jon Garland (ARI) @ Ubaldo Jimenez (COL)
In spite of 4 consecutive quality starts I find it too risky to start Jon Garland at Coors Field.
|
Probable Pitchers for Tuesday, July 21
Oliver Perez (NYM) @ John Lannan (WAS)
Don’t expect the Nationals to give Lannan much run support but he continues to have one solid performance after the other. Lannan has a 2.25 ERA and 1.19 WHIP at home. He only surrendered 3 homers in 10 games and walked 17 batters

Probable Pitchers for Monday, July 20
David Price (TB) @ Gavin Floyd (CWS)
Floyd may have an excellent record at home but he got roughed up in his last two starts at Minnesota and Kansas City. The Rays have batted over .300 in 3 of their last 5 games.

Probable Pitchers for Sunday, July 19
J.A. Happ (PHI) @ Andrew Miller (FLA)
Even though Miller has good stats at home (3-0, 3.25 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and opposing batters are .241 against him) this game looks suspicious. In 4 of their last 6 games the Phillies had more than 10 hits, while batting .291.
