I am not confident enough to start Stammen here but he should be on your watch list after four consecutive quality starts.

As much as I like Dallas Braden I am staying clear off him at Yankee Stadium.

This looks favourable for David Price. Toronto’s lineup is righty-heavy and they’ve been batting .221 over their last 6 games.

Probable Pitchers for Friday, July 24

Aaron Harang (CIN) @ Randy Wells (CHC)

I hope Wells’ last two games against Washington and St. Louis were exceptions rather than a downward trend. Besides, the Reds have been batting .214 in their last 5 games. It’s a risky start though.

Floyd may have an excellent record at home but he got roughed up in his last two starts at Minnesota and Kansas City. The Rays have batted over .300 in 3 of their last 5 games.

Probable Pitchers for Sunday, July 19

J.A. Happ (PHI) @ Andrew Miller (FLA)

Even though Miller has good stats at home (3-0, 3.25 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and opposing batters are .241 against him) this game looks suspicious. In 4 of their last 6 games the Phillies had more than 10 hits, while batting .291.
