Nolasco has been pitching very well since returning from the Minors but that was mainly against offensively challenged teams. The Phillies were pretty hot before the All Star break, batting .292 in their last 5 games.
Harang has always been a bit too hittable for my liking but that shouldn’t be much of an issue against the not so Amazin’s. The Mets are batting .177 in their last 6 games, with 33 hits in 186 at-bats.
Meche’s arm issues seem to be getting better but he’s walked 10 in his last two starts and gave up 7 homers in his last 4 outings. Maybe it’s best to sit this one out before starting him again.
This looks like a favourable matchup for Price actually. Price is pitching much better at home and the Blue Jays have been batting over .250 only once in their last 10 games. His inconsistency makes this start very risky tho

Paul Maholm has been very inconsistent for quite some time now and remains a risk to start, even against an Astros team that’s batting .209 in their last 5 games.
