Vicente Padilla will most likely be the starter for the Dodgers but I don’t recommend starting him in your fantasy leagues.

J.D. Martin (WAS) @ Rich Harden (CHC)

Harden may have a 6.31 ERA at home but in his last two starts at Wrigley Field he gave up 3 earned runs in 13 innings. The Nationals are batting .213 in their last 5 games.

Kevin Millwood (TEX) @ Joba Chamberlain (NYY)

Millwood is a risky start but I am staying clear off Chamberlain again. In his last two starts at Yankee Stadium he allowed 4 earned runs against Boston as well as Toronto.

Freddy Garcia (CWS) @ Clay Buchholz (BOS)

That’s right, I’m finally on the Buchholz bandwagon.

Scott Feldman (TEX) @ David Price (TB)

Only 2 of Feldman’s last 5 outings were quality starts. I’ll pass up on him against a team that’s been batting .306 in their last 6 games.

Probable Pitchers for Saturday, August 22

Max Scherzer (ARI) @ Brian Moehler (HOU)

None of Scherzer’s last 4 starts away from home were quality starts and he gave up 16 earned runs in 18.1 innings.

Niemann gave up 4 earned runs at Los Angeles and Seattle but I still like his chances at home.
