Willis is too erratic and faces a Yankees team who are batting .321 in
their last 7 games and had more than 10 hits in 5 of them.
Brandon Morrow (TOR) @ John Lackey (BOS)
Nate Robertson (FLA) @ Ted Lilly (CHC)
Kyle Kendrick (PHI) @ Greg Smith (COL) Matt Garza (TB) @ Joel Pineiro (LAA)
Bronson Arroyo (CIN) @ Ross Ohlendorf (PIT)
Luis Atilano (WAS) @ John Maine (NYM) Tommy Hanson (ATL) @ Doug Davis (MIL) Chad Billingsley (LAD) @ Rodrigo Lopez (ARI)
I'd gamble on Billingsley because he usually does well against the
Diamondbacks and at Chase Field where he's 5-2 with 3.97 ERA in 10
games. The Diamondbacks are batting .225 in their last 5 games, .167 in
the 2 home games.
Need to look a bit deeper into it before I make recommendations. Slowey is available but, whule many like him, I'm still undecided. I mean he doesn't really pitch deep into games.
Niemann at the Angels might be a decent option. Maybe Slowey too, if he's available.
I've got several options I am looking at for Wednesday. Volstad, Gorzellany and Pavano are all available in my league rigth now, and someone just put Wandy on waivers.
