I don’t understand how he is still available in most leagues. He is on a 5 games goal scoring streak and a 7 games scoring streak in total. The second best center of the previous week scored 3 goals, 2 assists, 2 power plays goals a 1 power play assist and a game winning goal, and also had 4 penalty minutes and 12 shots in 3 games last week.
2) (-) Sid Crosby (PIT)
He is day-to-day now but he played 2 games last week in which he scored 2 goals and 3 assists. One of the goals was a game winner and one of the assists came on power play. He shot 7 times on goal.
3) (1) Jonathan Toews (CHI)
He scored 4 goals last week thanks to a hat trick and against Pittsburgh on Friday. More remarkably, it was a power play hat trick. He also recorded 4 penalty minutes and 17 shots in 4 games.
4) (-) Sergei Fedorov (WAS)
His only goal last week was a game winning goal and all of his 3 assists came on power play. Fedorov averaged 3 shots per game.
5) (4) Mike Richards (PHI)
Another stellar week for the Flyer with 2 goals, one of which was short handed, 3 assists, including one on power play, a +3 and 19 shots in 4 games.
6) (-) Jeff Carter (PHI)
He is on a 4 game scoring streak with 2 goals and 4 assists. Both goals were game winning goals. He also had a power play goal, 6 penalty minutes and 12 shots last week.

That’s not an awesome week but a good one: 1 goal, 2 assists, 2 power play points and 11 shots in 3 games.

Backstrom is on a 8 game scoring streak, adding 1 goal and 3 assists to it. All of his points came on power play.

It’s the 3 point performance against the Avalanche that gets him on this list.

We start the top 10 centers with a canadien and we finish it with one. 2 of his 3 assists came on power play and he spent 6 minutes in the sin bin.
Wings:
1) (15) Alexander Semin (WAS)
He had the best week of all NHL players. Both goals were power play goals and 2 of his 4 assists happened on power play as well. Additionally he had 8 penalty minutes and 15 shots on goal.
2) (-) Alexei Kovalev (MTL)
The temporary rest helped Kovalev’s productivity a great deal. He is on a 3 game scoring streak with 2 goals and 5 assists. All of his assists happened during power play. He had 6 penalty minutes in 3 games as well.
3) (-) Michael Ryder (BOS)
What a return from injury reserve: 3 goals, 2 assists, 2 power play goals and +3
4) (12) Alexander Ovechkin (WAS)
He had one assist in each of his last 3 games, 2 of which were scored on power play. The rest of the week doesn’t look too bad either: 2 goals, 1 power play goal and no less than 23 shots.
5) (-) Michael Cammalleri (CGY)
He was outstanding in 2 of the 3 games last week when he had 3 goals and 2 assists and 2 power play points. His rating last week was +5 and he had 13 shots on goal.
6) (-) Jarome Iginla (CGY)
HE seemed to be in a slump but not anymore. He had 3 goals, 3 assists, 1 power play assist, a +6 rating and 10 shots.

He truly has an amazing season and last week he added 1 goal, 2 assists, 1 power play assist, +2 and 14 shots to his already impressive statistics.

He’s quite hot right now. His 3 game goal scoring streak may have come to an end but he is still on a 4 game scoring streak. Last week he had 3 goals, 1 assist, 2 power play points, +2 and 11 shots in 3 games.

He is not exactly one of Detroit’s corner stones but he had a good 2 games last week, accounting for 2 goals, 1 game winning goal, +3, 2 penalty minutes and 9 shots.

He’s played in two games and is day-to-day now. The entire productivity came in the game against Detroit, when he scored 2 goals, 1 on power play, 1 assist and had a rating of +2

Apart from his trade to the Penguins he actually had quite a good week, scoring 2 goals, 2 assists, 1 short handed assist and accumulating a rating of +5 and 4 penalty minutes in 3 games.

He had an assist in each of his past 3 games. His only goal was on power play and he had a +3 and 11 shots.
13) (-) Slava Kozlov (ATL)
He too had an assist in each of his last 3 games. 2 of them happened during power play and he accumulated 11 shots in 3 games.

This week’s stats may not be as impressive as last week’s but he’s actually on a 7 game scoring streak. Last week saw him score 1 goal, 3 assists, 1 power play assist, 4 penalty minutes and 18 shots in 4 games.

He had points in each of his 4 games last week, 2 goals and 3 assists. 1 power play assist and 14 shots round up a good week.

I added him as soon as he was traded to the Canadiens and that is how he repays me: 2 goals, 1 assist, all on power play, 1 game winning goal and 9 shots in 3 games. He is still available in most leagues.
2) (-) Sergei Gonchar (PIT)
He missed most of the season but has only been on fire since his return. He is on a 6 game scoring streak and had 1 goal, 4 assists, 1 power play goal, 2 power play assists, 6 penalty minutes and 11 shots in 4 games last week.
3) (-) Dion Phaneuf (CGY)
That’s actually been quite a good week: 2 goals, both won the game, 1 assist, 1 power play goal, +3, 6 penalty minutes and 9 shots in 3 games.
4) (-) Mark Streit (NYI)
He is still one of the pleasant surprises this season. He had 1 goal, 3 assists, 1 power play assist and most impressingly for an Islander a +3 rating last week. He also recorded 11 shots n 3 games.

He had 1 goal and 4 assists in 4 games last week. His power play goal and 2 power play assists made him valuable in these categories. 9 shots aren’t too bad for a defenseman either.
6) (8) Mike Green (WAS)
All of his 3 points, 1 goal and 2 assists came on power play and he had 14 shots n 3 games.
7) (10) Sheldon Souray (EDM)
What difference a game against the Lightning can make when he scored 2 goals. Additionally he had an assist and 17 shots in 3 games last week. He saw a 5 game scoring streak come to an end though.

I just don’t know about this guy, that’s why I keep adding and dropping him but he was productive last week. He had 4 assists, 3 on power play and 8 shots in 4 games.

I added him last week but only started him in the game he didn’t score! He had 2 assists, all on power play, 6 penalty minutes and 7 shots in 3 games last week.
10) (-) Anton Babchuk (CAR)
He’s not really a fantasy option but I’m sure you would have loved him on your team last week: 2 goals, 1 assist, 1 power play goal, and 11 shots in 3 games.
Goaltenders:
1) (-) Yann Danis (NYI)
I picked him up in the loss against Pittsburgh but he had good numbers there. Not as good as in the shutout against the devils though.
2) (-) Pekka Rinne (NSH)
He won all 3 starts last week and recorded one shutout. His GAA was 1.32 and his SV% was .955
3) (-) Tim Thomas (BOS)
He had 2 wins in 3 games last week, a shutout, a GAA of 1.01 and a SV% of .966
4) (-) Jaroslav Halak (MTL)
He won all 3 starts last week and had one shutout. His GAA was 1.97 with a SV% of .950
5) (-) Miikka Kiprusoff (CGY)
He had 3 wins last week and won all of his 4 last starts. He recorded a GAA of 1.30 and a SV% of .945
